A LETTER OF SUPPORT

Dear Community Partner,

New Bethel Church has established the Jamaica Hurricane Relief Initiative in response to the recent storm impact across the island. This initiative is rooted in our ongoing commitment to compassionate outreach and community support, both locally and abroad.

This initiative continues the legacy of the late Pastor Emeritus Neville Largie, the founding Pastor of our church and a faithful humanitarian. For over 40 years, Pastor Neville Largie dedicated his life to provided medical supplies to hospitals, school resources, clothing, and essential aid to communities throughout Jamaica. His heart for his homeland reflected a powerful truth: love is not simply spoken- it is demonstrated.  We are committed to honoring his legacy through ongoing support that is consistent, compassionate and impactful.

Today, this legacy is being carried forward under the leadership of Overseer Audley Largie, Pastor of New Bethel Church. As the late Pastor Neville Largie’s grandson, Overseer Largie continues this work with the same spirit of love, generosity, and connection to the people of Jamaica. Through this relief initiative, we honor the foundation that has been laid, and we strengthen our commitment to support the communities that have been impacted.

We invite individuals, businesses, churches, civic organizations, and community foundations who share in the mission of restoring dignity, hope and resources to families in Jamaica during this recovery period. Any contribution whether financial, supplies or sponsorship will be used directly to assist affected communities with urgent relief and ongoing support efforts.  Please visit our website www.newbethelchurchnj.org to submit your liberal contributions.

We also welcome any opportunity to connect further and explore how we may partner in this meaningful work.

With respect and gratitude,
