In today’s lesson from 2 Chronicles 35:1-6, 16-19, we explore how King Josiah reinvigorated the celebration of Passover among the people of Judah. By calling them to remember and honor this sacred feast, Josiah highlighted the importance of renewing their commitment to God’s covenant and the promises made to Him. We learn that, just like the Israelites, we can sometimes neglect our commitments, but it’s never too late to return to worship and obedience. Our key verse reminds us of Josiah’s dedication: “Josiah kept a Passover to the LORD in Jerusalem.” Let's reflect on how we can renew our own promises to God.
