In today’s Sunday school lesson, we take a deeper look into Christ’s death and resurrection to new life. Our key scripture comes from Matthew 28:1-10, where we explore how Jesus’s death and resurrection connect to the teachings of the Old Testament and the sacrificial system in the Temple. This event gives our lives true meaning, leading us to worship the Risen One. As the key verse tells us, "Suddenly Jesus met them and said, 'Greetings!' And they came to him, took hold of his feet, and worshiped him" (Matthew 28:9, NRSV).
